Course Summary

Whether your site is preparing for SQF certification or already holds certification and is

onboarding new employees, grasping the requirements laid out in the SQF Food Safety

Code is essential.

Centred on practical application, the Implementing SQF System course enables

participants to either bring their current food safety programs in line with SQF Code

standards or enhance their established SQF System through deeper understanding of the

Code. This course equips attendees with insights into how SQF components interrelate,

supporting ongoing advancement of food safety initiatives.

Pre-requisites

  • Participants should have already successfully completed a 2-day HACCP training

course meeting the definition found in the Glossary of the SQF Food Safety Code,

which is as follows:

“Training in the principles and application of a HACCP system based on the

Annex of the Codex Alimentarius Commission General Principles of Food

Hygiene. The training shall be: 1. Recognized as a HACCP training course

used extensively in a country. 2. Administered and delivered by a recognized

institution. 3. The acquired knowledge of the candidate shall be assessed as

part of the training program”
